Private Car Park. From 2016
The car park on the Westwood side, owned by the tearoom No10 as of 2016 leases its carpark to a private company who charge the following and mange:
- £2 per hour
- £3.50 (upto 3 hours)
- No overnight parking
- Charges apply to all users (Read comments here)
To avoid these charges, there area a few spaces on the Turleigh side but also and double yellow lines. Traffic Wardens visit often and especially at weekends / busy times.

Why was £10,000 of local taxpayers money given to a private resident / landowner on the premise of a carpark serving the community locally and at large.
Did they not have to agree some sort of local commitment to justify receiving this money.
If not. It’s scandlous and they should be made to pay back all the public funded money.

I was surprised just how expensive it is.
We now go to Hartley Farm Tearoom which offers its customers free parking and is in Winsley.
